Repositioning a tired council asset.
Used by many only as a cut-through from parking to the town centre, and occupied predominantly by pound shops and charity shops, it is fair to say this shopping centre has seen better days.
Working closely with key stakeholders from the council a new branding strategy was created around the heritage of the town. This was applied in a fun and engaging way to marketing collateral, wayfinding, and a large mural to both entrances of the centre.
This design approach created a much more welcoming environment and led to further conversations around art engagement and community projects. A new tenant strategy now welcomes a much wider tenant base.
